Project manager and advisor of the Cuban Art Collection of the Brownstone Foundation, Paris, art historian and curator. Within her practice, she is interested in discovering new artistic territories and visual languages through curatorship. Motivated also by the concept of expanded curatorial practice, which is aimed at shifting the traditional spaces of artistic production and consumption. Graduated in Art History from the Faculty of Arts and Letters of the University of Havana. She studied Curatorship and Contemporary Culture at the Istituto Europeo de Design (Venice, Italy) and is a part of the third class of the Master's Degree in Museum Curatorial Studies at the University of Navarra, Pamplona, Spain. While in Cuba, she has written for the platforms Cubaism and Cubaness. She was part of the founding team of the Art and Literature Magazine El Oficio. He developed as project coordinator of the Estudio Taller Chullima of Cuban artist Wilfredo Prieto, and participated in the production of more than a dozen exhibitions and cultural projects, linking himself to other institutions such as the Consejo Nacional de Artes Plásticas de Cuba (CNAP), the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) and Galleria Continua (Havana). In Europe, she has been linked to art spaces and centers such as the 57th Venice Biennale (2019), the Fondazione Morra Greco (Naples, Italy), the Museo Universidad de Navarra, the Department of Art and Politics of the University of Murcia, the Department of Fine Arts of the University of Elche, among others. Among his most recent curatorial projects are Silent Specific (2020) co-curated with the artist and Cuban National Plastic Arts Award winner René Francisco Rodríguez, Coro de Cristales (2022), on the occasion of the Arco Madrid 2022 fair and the 5th edition of the Carajillo event, organized by Mala Fama Estudios and Nave Oporto in Carabanchel, Madrid and Intermedia, an exhibition that took place in Pamplona, Navarra, in collaboration Patricia Phelps de Cisneros’s collection.
